Jobbing Jeweller

Location: Laing Flagship Store (Edinburgh)

The Jobbing Jeweller is responsible for the creation and/or repair of pieces of jewellery using a variety of materials and techniques. You will also provide in-house design advice for customers – providing support to our Head of Design for initial consultation to design and managing job through workshops to final product.

Sales Consultant

Location: Laing (Hampshire)

A sales consultant is responsible for representing the company and upholding the company image. They are charged with giving exceptional customer service, creating sales and giving the customer confidence in our store to make us stand out against our competitors and ensure repeat custom. Sales Consultants must maintain a high standard of display and cleanliness in-store to reflect the value of the goods we are selling. They should be innovative and have the ability to drive sales within our brands to ensure the expansion of the company and profits. They should be aware of our competitors and how they are performing to make sure we stay ahead of them.

Store Manager

Location: Laing (Hampshire)

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the running of the entire shop ensuring maximum sales for the store and company. They are responsible for the delegation of tasks to their staff and to make sure that all tasks are being carried out efficiently and responsibly. They are also responsible for the training and development of all staff in their shop to make sure the best possible service can be delivered. Dealing with Customer Complaints and resolving issues to make sure the Customer is given the best experience. All aspects of the Performance Management Programme should be completed by yourself and your management team on time. The paperwork for their shop should be accurate and up to date. A diary of daily, weekly and monthly checks should be maintained at all times with performance of staff reviewed monthly. They are responsible for every repair in terms of security, quality of job and estimates and delivery. The visual shop image created by the conditions of the showroom throughout the day should exhibit the tight efficiency with which they run the shop. They must ensure that the Health and Safety of their team and store security is given high priority. The Store Manager will report directly into the General Manager and provide regular updates regarding their shop.
