Christmas Delivery & Returns

We would recommend ordering online no later than Thursday 21st December at 12pm to ensure your order arrives before Christmas Day.

Orders placed with a Click & Collect option selected are subject to stock availability and location. We would recommend ordering as early as possible in line with the above dates, however please speak to our client services team if a Click & Collect order is required between Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th December.

All orders purchased online from Friday 10th November can be refunded or exchanged up to and including Wednesday 10th January. Please notify our Client Services team by Friday 5th January if you wish to refund or exchange your order via post.

Delivery Timeframes

Laings generally provides a next-day delivery service depending on when the order is placed.

The following information will help advise when you can expect to receive your order.

Orders Placed:

Monday to Friday before 12 noon are usually dispatched the same day* (excludes bank holiday Mondays)
Monday to Friday after 12 noon are dispatched the next working day*
Friday after 12 noon are dispatched Monday (excluding Bank Holidays)*
Weekend orders are dispatched on a Monday (excluding Bank Holidays)*

EXPECTED DELIVERY IS NEXT DAY PRE 4 PM AND * (excludes Friday, these will be delivered Monday) ALL ORDERS REQUIRE A SIGNATURE.

*If you are applying for finance this is subject to the approval of your credit agreement by our credit provider.

*All delivery times are subject to stock availability. If your item has to be ordered directly from suppliers and we are unable to dispatch your order within our 'normal' 1-3 day delivery we will contact you to discuss your delivery date and time. We cannot take responsibility for any delays caused by credit applications or banking delays. In addition to this, delivery times can be delayed should an item of jewellery require re-sizing. Delivery times are extended over bank holidays and may be extended as the result of any adverse weather conditions, postal strikes and other factors that are beyond our control.

*COVID-19-related issues may impact our service from time to time, should this occur and with our knowledge, we will advise our clients directly.

Timeframes are set with our business operating normally (out-with lockdown/restrictions).

Delivery Charges

Delivery will be free of charge for all UK orders. Delivery will be made by Royal Mail Special Delivery™ and will reach you within 1-3 working days, but normally arrive the next working day*. We can only deliver to customers within the UK and Northern Ireland and a signature must be provided at the point of delivery.

Fraud Protection

To help fight online fraud Laings is proactive in recognising fraudulent transactions. Our checks are essential and completed for every transaction to protect the security of both our customers and our business.

Where possible we will endeavour to conduct our security checks inside our delivery service level agreement, however, from time to time we may contact you by phone or e-mail to request additional proof of identity before we dispatch your order.

Royal Mail Special Delivery™ Service

All of our orders are despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery™ services. All items are insured by us whilst in transit and a signature at your address will be required upon receipt of the delivery.

If you are not at home during your delivery time, Royal Mail will leave you a contact card so you can re-arrange delivery for a suitable date.

All of our orders are dispatched using the 'Special Delivery' service scheduled before 4 pm the next working day and a signature will be required.

Click & Collect

Click and collect is available at our Laings showrooms located in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Southampton.

Watch and Jewellery Brand purchases can be collected at your local Laings authorised dealer.

Click and collect is not available on orders using V12 Finance.

You will be notified when your item is available for collection.

Website Order Returns by Post

At Laings, we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we understand that you may wish to return items. A refund or exchange for an online order can be requested within 14 days of receipt and a further 14 days to return or exchange.  This does not affect your statutory rights.  Please contact our client service team who will assist you with free returns packaging to safely and securely return your item.  You can prepare the returns document (linked below) in advance but we will also provide this with your returns label for ease.

Please note that this applies to online purchases only and items such as earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. We cannot accept returns for items that have been altered, specially ordered, re-sized or engraved.  If you have secured finance with our third-party provider, upon return of the item, our Client Services team will liaise with the finance provider to cancel the agreement, requesting the refund of any payments made.

Website Order Returns to Store

Alternatively, online purchases may be returned to your local store along with the returns the completed slip and proof of purchase.

Our showroom team will be pleased to assist with your refund or exchange.

Please note when returning in-store within 14 days for a refund, the store will be unable to process your refund directly, this will be passed to our web team who will notify you when the refund is completed. 

Store Purchase Returns

Any items bought in-store can be exchanged only within 28 days (Rolex 14 days) but no refund will be offered. 

Terms & Conditions of Returns

Laings cannot accept returns of earrings or cleaning products if the packaging has been opened. This is due to hygiene reasons and does not affect your statutory rights.

When returning items to Laings or a store, the item(s) must be in its original condition and packaging, accompanied by the dispatch note and the returns slip.

We cannot accept returns for items that have been altered, re-sized, or engraved.

The store will be pleased to return your order to our head office on your behalf where the request will be processed following our returns Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions of Ring Returns

Sale Rings

Our sale rings are typically available only in selected sizes. If making your purchase directly from the website or heading into one of our stores we recommend contacting us for the available size before proceeding, occasionally this information might not be displayed online.  Sale rings cannot be exchanged for a different size. In the case where the size ordered is unsuitable, a refund will be offered. Certain rings may be able to be re-sized. Please note that re-sizing on sale rings is chargeable.

Rings

We like to cater to all clients and as such display all sizes available to Laings in a particular ring.  This does not mean the item is immediately available for delivery but that Laings is happy to order in sizes directly for clients.  This may result in an additional waiting period that you will be notified of upon placing your order or making an inquiry. Time scales will vary depending on the ring but rest assured we will aim to meet your desired date where possible.
